For those players that have a desire to play at an elevated level of competition and demonstrate the ability to follow the Players Code of Conduct, KAYBC supports travel teams for grades 3 through 8. Schedules for traveling teams are up to the discretion of the coaches within your child's age group.

• Teams evenly split talent.
• Players are required to play HOV league.
• Teams will be divided evenly after the HOV league.
• 50% minimum playing time required.
• Teams have 2 practices per week and tournaments on weekends typically from December - February.

Fees

• $80 for up to 5 tournaments (Early Bird Price $70)
• $50 Raffle fee fundraiser required (You can sell these to get your money back)

• Playing time minimum is 40% per tournament and 25% per game with time in both 1st and 2nd half of the game.

• All players must try out for JR Gerrits school basketball (tryout is required but it is not required to make the JRG team to play KAYBC).

• KHS Varsity Coaching staffs to determine structure per class. 

• Tryouts will be held. Players may be cut.

• Varsity coaching staff will meet with travel team coaches and Board members to determine structure (A, A/B, C, etc...) for the season. 

• State tournament team selection process is at the discretion of the Varsity coaching staff.  

• Playing time guidelines - minimum 35% playing time per tournament and 25% per game with time in both first and second halves of the game.

• State tournament is "Play to Win" with no playing time guidelines in this tournament only.

Fees (C team fees may differ)

• $180 for up to 11 tournaments (12 for State Team) (Early bird price $170).​​​​​​
